Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Season 3

Spoiler Warning: the descriptions below may spoil any surprises if you haven't seen the episode!

"Anne"
Oz, Willow and Xander try to take up the slack of vampire slaying while Buffy is waitressing in some seedy diner. When an old acquaintance asks for her help, Buffy discovers that you can go home again.
Original Air Date: September 29, 1998

"Dead Man's Party"
After returning to Sunnydale, the tension between Buffy and the Scooby Gang is so thick you'd need a sword to cut through it! When a funky mask begins raising the dead, the Scooby Gang must put aside their differences and work together. (I did not like the part when Xander and Willow started in on Buffy - Give her a break!)
Original Air Date: October 6, 1998

"Faith, Hope & Trick"
A new slayer arrives in Sunnydale and hot on her trail is a cloven vampire and Mr. Trick, yet another vampire. Faith ingratiates herself into every part of Buffy's life, until they realize that Faith is what brought these beasts here. Meanwhile, Angel drops, naked, back into Sunnydale.
Original Air Date: October 13, 1998

"Beauty and the Beasts"
After a brutal mauling in the woods, Willow and the others fear that Oz, in werewolf mode, may be responsible. But when Buffy comes across Angel, she believes the worst of him. (Who did not love that ending? :-))
Original Air Date: October 20, 1998

"Homecoming"
The homecoming dance ignites a rivalry between Cordelia and Buffy. While they vye for each vote, Mr. Trick decrees that SlayerFest '98 is about to begin...for Cordelia and Buffy instead.
Original Air Date: November 3, 1998

"Band Candy"
Some seriously kooky candy makes the adults of Sunnydale act like teenagers. The culprit is an old friend. (Loved ASH in this ep!)
Original Air Date: November 10, 1998

"Revelations"
The gang rips into Buffy again, this time over the return of Angel and the fact that she has been hiding him. A new watcher for Faith arrives but isn't exactly what she seems.
Original Air Date: November 17, 1998

"Lovers Walk"
Willow and Xander's hormones are in over-drive so Willow decides to cast a de-lusting spell. When Spike gets wind of this, he kidnaps her and Xander and forces Willow to perform a love spell for him and Dru, who dumped him. Buffy and Angel accompany Spike to get the supplies that Willow needs for the spell. A horde of old 'friends' of Spike's arrive and a big fight ensues. Meanwhile, Xander and Willow are caught smooching by their significant others and Cordelia, in a mad dash to get away, falls through the floor and impales herself. Buffy breaks it off with Angel, again! (How many times is that?)
Original Air Date: November 24, 1998

"The Wish"
Cordelia, seriously pissed off about Xander and Willow, makes a wish that Buffy had never come to Sunnydale, not realizing, of course, that Anyanka, the patron saint of scorned women, is hanging around. The world that appears is completely different than the other one and Cordelia doesn't last long, especially when she spouts off about Buffy to the Master's worst disciples: Xander and Willow.
Original Air Date: December 8, 1998

"Amends"
Haunted by the people he has killed, Angel comes close to giving into the darker side of himself until Buffy and a Christmas miracle makes him see that the world needs him.
Original Air Date: December 15, 1998

"Gingerbread"
Picking the worst possible night for a surprise "mother-daughter bonding" visit with Buffy, Joyce is haunted by the discovery of two murdered children and is compelled to take drastic action. When Giles suggests that the killings seem to be an occult sacrifice, Joyce rallies the entire adult population of Sunnydale behind a Salem-like witch hunt, leading the murderous mob directly to Willow, Buffy and Amy.
Original Air Date: January 12, 1999

"Helpless"
Buffy never has any luck with birthdays, especially her own. This ones proves no different. The test given to a slayer on her 18th birthday teaches Buffy a few hard lessons. Especially when she discovers that Giles was behind it.
Original Air Date: January 19, 1999

"The Zeppo"
'Xander lacks a power' is the theme of this episode. While the rest of the gang fends off the end of the world, Xander parties with the undead, does the deed with one very naughty slayer and saves the school. All in a night's work.
Original Air Date: January 26, 1999

"Bad Girls"
Faith manages to turn Buffy to the dark side of the force, if only for a few hours. Along with a new watcher, Buffy does many things she normally would never do...including stealing and...oh yeah...aiding and abetting with a murder.
Original Air Date: February 9, 1999

"Consequences"
The consequences of Faith's actions haunt Buffy. When she goes to Giles, she is shocked to find Faith already there. Soon it becomes a race against time, and Faith's sanity, as Buffy and Angel try to help her.
Original Air Date: February 16, 1999

"Doppelgängland"
When a spell cast by Anya and Willow backfires, an alterna-Willow arrives in Sunnydale intent on making this world like hers. (Incidentally, this is my favorite episode...EVER!)
Original Air Date: February 23, 1999

"Enemies"
After a seduction attempt on Angel doesn't pan out, Faith goes looking for a more mystical means to removing his soul and finds it. (And again with the breakup!)
Original Air Date: March 16, 1999

"Earshot"
Close encounter of a telepathic kind is the theme. Buffy overhears a threat against the students. When she can't block out the thoughts of others, she goes a tad nutty. The Scooby Gang step forth and try to figure out who the culprit is. Meanwhile, Angel again proves how much he loves her. I mean, how else do you show you love someone? Ya rip the heart out of a demon, that's how!
Original Air Date: Postponed April 27, 1999 ... NEW Airdate: September 21, 1999

"Choices"
Buffy and the Scooby Gang must make a trade - Willow for the box that is the key to the Ascension. (When I'm right, I'm way right! Earshot was the missing link! Yay!)
Original Air Date: May 4, 1999

"The Prom"
The Prom appears in Sunnydale along with some seriously disgusting Hellhounds intent on ripping apart anyone dressed to the nines. Meanwhile, Angel comes to the conclusion that he and Buffy can never be together. (Ok, who didn't like the award Buffy got? And how cute is Angel in the beginning watching Buffy?)
Original Air Date: May 11, 1999

"Graduation Day" (Part 1 of 2)
Graduation Day looms as Buffy, Willow, Oz and Xander prepare for the possibility that they're not making it out of Sunnydale High alive. The Mayor sends Faith to distract Buffy and she does an admirable job. With Angel dying, the final showdown between Buffy and Faith begins...and ends.
Original Air Date: May 18, 1999

"Graduation Day" (Part 2 of 2)
With Faith out of the picture and nowhere near Angel's teeth, Buffy offers herself as a tasty treat (Holy Moly!), the graduating class of '99 spring into action for the final battle against the mayor.
Original Air Date: Postponed May 25, 1999 ... New Air Date: July 13, 1999
