"When She Was Bad"
Buffy returns to Sunnydale with a serious attitude. She must put it on hold though because some of the Master's minions, including the Anointed One, are trying to put the pieces back together again. And they need Giles, and the Scooby Gang to do it.

Some people just have a hard time finding the perfect woman so, these guys decide to make one. And, for some reason, they want Cordelia.

"School Hard"
Spike and Dru make their appearance. Spike promises the Annoying One that he will kill the Slayer, just as he has before. Spike though isn't a patient vampire and makes his move during parent/teacher night...where Buffy's mom is.

"Inca Mummy Girl"
Xander's taste in women proves even worse this time when he falls for a beautiful exchange student who has this need to suck the life out of people. Being an ancient mummy does suck sometimes!

"Reptile Boy"
Buffy decides to have a little fun after Angel blows her off and Giles doesn't want her to do anything else except work and patrol. Unfortunately, she decides to go to a Frat Party with Cordelia, where there is this really ugly reptile guy in the basement who has this propensity for eating young women.

Even though Halloween is supposed to be a quiet night for vampires and ghouls, someone forgot to inform Ethan who casts a spell to turn everyone into their costumes. Xander is a soldier, Willow is a ghost and Buffy is an 18th century noblewoman who wants to sit around looking pretty and hopefully marry a baron! When Spike gets wind of what has happened he and some miniature demons go after Buffy.

"Lie To Me"
A boy from Buffy's past life in LA attempts to deliver her to Spike in exchange for the immortality of being a vampire.

"The Dark Age"
Giles' rebellion as a teenager comes back to haunt him...literally. In the form of a demon that possesses people who are either dead or unconscious. When it possesses Jenny, the relationship takes a downward turn.

"What's My Line?" (Part 1 of 2)
Spike, tired of the Slayer foiling all his plans, hires a group of deadly assassins to kill Buffy. Xander's propensity for attracting bug people is even better this time when a man of bugs attacks him and Cordelia. A one-eyed man attacks Buffy and Angel. When a funky pony-tailed girl attacks Buffy, we learn a few new things about being a Slayer...namely that there can be two!

"What's My Line?" (Part 2 of 2)
Spike, thinking Buffy has been dealt with, kidnaps Angel with the hope that he can refuel Drusilla. Buffy must deal with this new slayer, whom Giles has taken quite a liking to, and figure out how to save her boyfriend.

Buffy freaks when she catches her mom kissing a man in the house. While the rest of the gang fall for him, and his food, Buffy asks Willow to do checking on him. It turns out she was right when Ted slaps her around...not to mention the dead bodies in his house.

"Bad Eggs"
Buffy and the Scooby Gang must carry around an egg in preparation for parenting but when the egg hatches some kind of nasty squiggly thing, Buffy and Xander must figure out how to stop it. Meanwhile, two not-so-bright cowboy vamps come to town to kill the Slayer.

Spike decides to give Drusilla the best present ever this year! The dismembered parts of a demon known as the Judge. When an arm appears at Buffy's party, Jenny insists that Angel leave to take it as far away as possible. When they are attacked, Buffy and Angel return to his apartment...where one moment of passion has some seriously shocking side affects.

Buffy and Angel's night of love has ripped his soul away and now all that remains is Angelus. Angelus returns to the family, namely Spike and Dru. While Buffy's heart is breaking, Willow discovers Cordelia and Xander's secret and Giles and Buffy learn what and who Ms. Calendar is. Never mind the fact that the Judge heads for Sunnydale Mall to do some serious burning.

A werewolf makes an appearance in Sunnydale and Buffy must find it before Cain, the poacher from hell, does. Meanwhile, Willow and Oz grow closer until Oz learns something about himself and his behaviour when the moon rises.

"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered"
Women, in relation to Xander, are never a good thing. So when Cordelia breaks up with him on Valentines Day, he finds a way to make her pay by using magic...which, of course, backfires. Every female in Sunnydale loves Xander and wants him, including Buffy, Drusilla and Joyce. The exception to the rule is Cordelia for whom the spell was originally intended.

Angelus continues to torment Buffy with nightly visits. Buffy and the Scooby Gang search for a spell to uninvite Angelus from their homes. Meanwhile, Jenny discovers the key to returning his soul... unfortunately, Angelus wants nothing to do with that and lets her know in the most brutal way.

"Killed By Death"
Buffy is admitted to the hospital with a raging fever where she encounters a young child who sees death...literally. Meanwhile, a jealous Cordelia looks on as Xander protects a weakened Buffy from Angelus' personal brand of sympathy.

"I Only Have Eyes For You"
The tortured spirit of a young man haunts the halls of Sunnydale High...until Buffy and Angelus arrive. Giles believes that the spirit is Jenny until a black hole that tries to suck Willow in convinces him otherwise.

"Go Fish"
With the swim team being sucked out of their skin, Buffy decides to become their one and only bodyguard. Meanwhile, Xander joins as Mr. Undercover Man and reveals some seriously nice pecs which Cordelia seems to highly enjoy.

"Becoming" (Part 1 of 2)
Buffy realizes that the time has come to stop Angelus. But her decision is hindered when Willow finds the cure to restoring his soul. Elsewhere, Angelus decides to wake up the demon of all demons, Acathla, who can suck the whole world into hell. When Angelus sets a trap for Buffy, she doesn't realize until it's too late that it's not meant for her but for Giles.

"Becoming" (Part 2 of 2)
With Giles in enemies' hands and Willow in a coma, Buffy makes an unholy alliance to stop Angelus and get her watcher back. What she doesn't know is that Willow has awakened and is casting the spell of all spells...the return of Angel.
