"Hello?" Cordelia answered the phone while feeding Connor. "It's Gunn. Tell Wesley to stay up: we have a problem," Gunn said and hung up. "What happened?" Wesley said as Angel, Gunn, and Victoria walked in. "Victoria this is Wesley, Cordelia, and Fred," Angel said. "Sirus is back," Angel replied to Wesley. "And, Victoria gets visions" he added glancing at her.

"What kind of visions" Wesley said to Victoria. "I see visions of that monster. Sometimes I see things that are going to happen," she said sounding exhausted. "You should sit down," Angel said leading her to a chair. "Well, well," Lorne said holding Connor. Vicki was a little startled and then she said, "Nice to meet all of you." "I think we need to talk," Angel said after an awkward silence. He led her to the study.

"What are you?" Victoria said. "A vampire," Angel said. "I didn't want you to find out like this. I didn't want to scare you," he said. "You didn't. My visions did," Victoria said. "Why is this happening? I'm so scared!" Victoria said screaming and getting angry. "Shhh, I'm going to protect you. I won't let anything happen to you. Let it out," Angel said taking her hand and holding her as she finally wept.

As Angel was holding her he felt her pain and it angered him to see her like this. Vicki finally quieted down and said, "This has been some week." "Yeah," Angel agreed, still holding her. "You should stay here," Angel said. "There are plenty of guest rooms," he added, trying to convince her to stay. "I should call the studio. I'm not coming in for a while," Vicki said. "I'll stay" she finally said. "Here's your room. It's next to mine," Cordelia said as she and Vicki walked in. "Thank you so much," Vicki said looking at the beauty of the room. "You're welcome. By the way, I love your show," Cordelia said as Vicki smiled.

Vicki walked into the living room and saw Lorne with Connor. "How adorable," she said. "Who's baby?" "It's Angel's son, Connor," Lorne said. "Son?" Vicki said, beyond shocked. "It's a long story," Lorne said. "Angel really likes you. Do you like him?" "He likes me?" Vicki thought and couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, you like him," Lorne said. "Can I hold Connor for a while?" Vicki asked. "Sure, I have to get going anyway," Lorne replied.

"Hi Connor. I'm Vicki," Victoria said as she walked around the hotel. She walked to the study. Vicki remembered the way it felt when Angel held her as she cried. Angel walked in and saw Vicki holding Connor. Angel noticed that Connor really liked Vicki. "Your father helped me a lot these past few days. Do you know that? Yes?" Vicki said as she gave Connor a kiss on the cheek. She turned around and saw Angel. "I see you met Connor," Angel said.

"Yes, he's so handsome. Like his Daddy," she turned to Angel. "He looks sleepy, I'll take him to bed," Vicki said. "Give daddy a kiss," she told Connor in a gentle voice. She walked towards Angel as he gave Connor a kiss. "They look like a real family," Wesley thought as he watched from a distance. "She's good with children," he thought. As Vicki walked away she turned around and said "Wave to daddy, Connor," she took Connor's hand and waved for him. Angel smiled. "I'll be back," Vicki said.

"Thanx for putting him to sleep," Angel said as he walked Vicki back to her room. "Come in," Vicki said. "We can talk for a while," she offered. "I know what you want to talk about," Angel said. "What's that?" Vicki said. "My past," Angel said. "I'll tell you. I'm 245 years old. I became a vampire in 1706 from a vampire named Darla. Darla is also Connor's mother. Darla died recently as a result of giving birth to Connor. I have done some horrible things in my life. Now I'm just trying to make amends for them," Angel said with a pained sigh.

Vicki saw his pain she touched his face and he touched her and they kissed lightly. They looked at each other and then kissed passionately. Angel broke the kissed and looked at Vicki and kissed her neck. "Make love to me Angel," Vicki said between one of their many kisses. "Take away everything," she added. Angel broke away and stopped. "I can't. You're not thinking clearly. You're still in pain," he said. "I want you," Vicki said about to kiss him. "You're trying to forget. When we make love I want it to be special," Angel said. "I know you want that too," he added. Vicki realized he was right. "Having you in my arms is enough for now," Angel said. "Stay with me, just hold me," Vicki said. "I will," Angel said. "I'm so tired," Vicki began to say. "Shhh sleep," Angel said as they kissed again and held each other for the rest of the night.
