Well, look at you, digging for information! You've come to the right place. As mentioned on the main page, this site is dedicated to Angel the Series. Since the show has ended (and hence, updates will likely become a rare occurrence, though they will happen) we have joined forces with Angel's Secrets and Laugh Lines, Love Lines to bring our visitors a wide selection of content.

Anyway. The theme of this site was taken from a bar that first appeared on the show in Season 2. I've put together a little comparison to tell you a little more about the site - and the bar.

Lorne (aka The Host) arrived on our plane via a dimensional hotspot: he found himself in an abandoned building unlike any he'd seen at home in Pylea, and he built Caritas on that very spot. He had the facility protected by a spell that prohibited demon violence. Unfortunately the bar was not immune to human violence or cars crashing into it, and it suffered damage on more than one occasion. Just as repairs were being completed for yet another re-opening, the bar was utterly destroyed when Holtz tossed a bomb into it, in the episode Lullaby.

This site opened on October 19, 2001, at a free hosting company that shall remain un-named. In late June of 2002, the (evil) hosting company suddenly and without warning shut down their free accounts. To their credit they did send me my files, and they provided URL forwarding to the new site for a few weeks. But does that make up for shutting us down without notice and leaving us with a trail of suddenly useless website addresses? I don't think so.

The moral of the story is: beware of the fly-by-night hosting company. (I should have questioned their quality from the start when I noticed mis-spelled words throughout their site.)

In February of 2005, we joined forces with Angel's Secrets and Laugh Lines, Love Lines to bring our visitors a wide selection of content. We're still three separate sites, but we cross-link to relevant features.
